Kim Isaacs

FRACS, MBBS, BSc

Dr Kim Isaacs is a Surgical Oncologist and General Surgeon, and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She completed her training in General Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital (Sydney). This was followed with clinical fellowships in Melanoma at the Melanoma Institute Australia (Sydney), Sarcoma and Soft Tissue Tumours at the Royal Marsden Hospital (London) and Endocrine Surgery at The Hammersmith Hospital (London). On her return to Australia she completed a further two years of clinical fellowship in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at The Tweed Hospital (Tweed Heads) where she participated in the on call roster and managed the Melanoma Tissue Bank in conjunction with Griffith University.

Dr Isaacs is passionate about the surgical management of patients with cancer. She enjoys treating all types of skin and soft tissue tumours, as well as the surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease. She actively teaches medical students and junior doctors, and clinical appointments at the University of New South Wales, Notre Dame University, Griffith University and Bond University.
