“Firstly, I love the title of Navigator as it truly reflects your role. I just wish I had found out about your services at the start of my journey as it’s clear that there would have been benefit at the very start. Alas, I have you now and I (and my family) are very thankful and grateful for your services and support. Thank you.

“After receiving a frightening diagnosis, it is very helpful to have a calm person to speak to who is knowledgeable in the field.

“He was very compassionate and beyond helpful. I am so grateful I have him in my corner. Thank you so much, your support during this time has made me feel less isolated.

“I found her very personable, professional and supportive. I am most appreciative of her speedy assistance. You are fortunate to have her as I am.

“Thank you for being there.”

We are grateful to have received such beautiful words about our Specialist Cancer Navigators from some of the patients and families we supported in 2022. It is a privilege to be a part of their journey

We received these quotes after sending out an anonymous survey. The aim of this was to capture the impact of our Patient Support services, to better understand if our approach was helpful to the patient’s journey, and to identify areas of improvement for those we support

The responses we received gave us helpful insights into how patients and families use our service. We will continue to use this approach to measure the impact of our services and to ensure we deliver on our mission

If you have feedback on our Patient Support services, we’d love to hear from you. You can email us at [email protected]
