A one-off donation can have a powerful impact for those living with rare, less common or complex cancers. As a registered charity, any donation to Rare Cancers Australia is tax deductible.
We are grateful for donations of any size and at any time of year.
Some people choose to donate:
- at the end of the financial year
- to celebrate holidays, such as Christmas
- to mark anniversaries, birthdays or in memory of a loved one
- in recognition of a specific cancer’s awareness day, week or month
- for Rare Cancers Awareness Day on 26 June
- to one of our regular appeals
- just because!
An ongoing gift
Regular giving allows you to have an ongoing impact on the lives of people diagnosed with rare, less common and complex cancers. The need for our limitless support and relentless advocacy continues to grow, so regular giving means you can help those who need it immediately, as well as people who are diagnosed with rare cancers in the future.
We understand most people aren’t in a position to make a large donation very often. By setting up regular giving, you can contribute smaller, more affordable amounts periodically, which can add up to have a profound impact over time. Best of all, it’s easy – once your donation is set up, it will continue unless you choose to change it, so you can have a lasting impact without a second thought.
You may decide to give:
- weekly, fortnightly or monthly in line with your pay frequency
- at the end of each financial year
- at Christmas
- to mark a birthday, anniversary or other date of significance to you.
