The International Back to Back Wool Challenge promotes woolcraft and raises funds for cancer research. In teams of 7 handspinners and knitters, plus one blade shearer and one sheep, the challenge is to shear a sheep, spin the wool and knit a jumper in the shortest time. A number of teams will pit themselves against this challenge on Saturday 29 March 2025 at Tarndwarncoort - an old woolgrowing property 1.5 hours west of Melbourne. Your support of these teams not only encourages the team members to complete the challenge knowing there are members of the public invested in their efforts, but it clearly goes to a cause, that similar to woolcraft, has a high impact in a niche area.
